Divisions and Awards:
The triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Race. Race age is determined by the age of the participant on December 31st of the current calendar year.
There will be (1) USAT California High School Championship Division. Awards will be (3) deep for male and female. Eligible athletes are those entering 9th grade through high school graduation of the current calendar year. If the event is after graduation, but before the start of the next school year you are eligible to compete. All students must show their current school identification cards to confirm their grade as of 2018. Teams may be setup for multiple athlete’s representing each High School. There will be (1) award for the High School with the most points. (1) point will be awarded for each athlete representing their High School as well as points for order of finishing, (First 5, Second 4, Third 3, Fourth 2, and Fifth 1).
There are (4) Divisions for the Youth, 6-8, 9-12, 13-15 and 6-19. Awards will be (5) deep for each 1-year age group (male and female), ages 6-12. Awards will be (3) deep for each 1-year age group (male and female), ages 13-19.
There are (2) Divisions, Super Sprint and Sprint, for the Adult. Awards with be (3) deep for each 10-year age group (male and female) beginning with 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 up.
The 5k Run/Walk awards will be (3) deep, (male and female), beginning with 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 up.
Every finisher will receive a race finisher medal.
